Wonderful to see the dippers almost daily near Blackweir

Sorry, I obviously do. Two herons flying along the river today, one flew over the bridge at Blackweir, the other under the bridge. Wonderful! I don't know how the dippers are faring there with all the people in the river this weekend.

Wonderful morning with the Friends in the Education Centre looking in the moth traps set overnight - over 50 varieties, including the magnificent hawkmoth.
And two days ago, I saw the kingfisher
on the river north of Blackweir. Just lovely!
